MEC recognizes the value and importance of achieving high standards of corporate governance to enhance corporate performance and accountability. As such, MEC regularly applies the principles and complies with the code provisions set out in the Code on Corporate Governance Practices ("CG Code") in Appendix 14 to the Listing Rules. In addition, MEC periodically reviews its corporate governance practices to ensure that these continue to meet the requirements of the CG Code.
